Euroavia Airlines has received its AOC and plans to expand its fleet with both widebody and narrowbody freighters.
Cyprus’ Department of Civil Aviation issued the AOC to Euroavia on Nov. 13 after granting a certificate of airworthiness on Oct. 16 for Euroavia’s single 767-300BDSF (26991, ex-Condor), the new carrier told Cargo Facts.
Euroavia expects to begin commercial flights by the end of November, it said.

The 1992-vintage, PW4000-powered unit 26991 is on sublease from Uniondale, N.Y.-based charter and ACMI brokerage firm SLG Worldwide, which leased it from CAM in August.
It is the only freighter registered in Cyprus.
After launching flights, Euroavia hopes to add two 767-300 and two A321 freighters in 2025, and is also considering 777s, it said.
The company previously told Cargo Facts that it would fly between Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
